Description
In Paisaje, Avakian approaches landscape through the energy of gesture and the vibration of color. Blues, reds, yellows and blacks move across the surface with expansive intensity, building an image that points less to a recognizable place than to an experience of movement.
The work transforms landscape into a sensitive field: an open space crossed by lines, stains and rhythms that activate the viewer’s gaze. Painting becomes an emotional territory, where color and gesture organize a scene in constant tension.
