In this lithograph, broad black areas are crossed by pale lines and irregular forms that recall cracks, edges and fragments. The composition draws attention to the cuts and displacements running across the surface.
The forms seem eroded and recomposed, like remnants of an image subjected to pressure. The work approaches landscape memory through trace, contrast and the transformation of graphic matter.
