In Memory, the matrix and its print on fabric appear as two moments of the same trace. Scratches, horizontal lines, stains and small pale remnants run across both surfaces, making the passage of an image from one support to another visible.
The relationship between the worn matrix and the printed textile turns repetition into a form of memory. Each mark shifts through transfer while retaining traces of contact, use and accumulated time.
