Description
In Grito, a figure twists among fragments of printed paper, stains, and broad fields of colour. The open mouth and bodily torsion suggest a release that cannot be contained by the face and instead travels through the entire composition.
The collage brings foreign voices and remnants of other processes into the anatomy. Greens, blues, ochres, and violets turn the body into a collective surface crossed by memory, noise, and immediate physical energy.
