Description
In Cielo, a frontal figure joins their hands in a gesture of prayer, surrender, or appeal. The inscription “Cielo toma mi alma” (“Heaven, take my soul”) makes explicit the spiritual dimension carried by the posture and gaze.
Violets, blues, and greys form an almost transparent body exposed on the paper. The work brings fragility and faith together: the figure does not pose, but seems suspended in an intimate moment of waiting and trust.
