In Balazo Pecho, a figure lowers their gaze while a red mark gathers at the centre of the torso and descends between the hands. The wound organizes the composition, yet the figure’s gesture shifts the scene from violence toward introspection.
Blues, greens, and earth tones mix with red without stabilizing the anatomy. The body appears as an exposed surface crossed by fragility, pain, and a quiet form of resistance.
