Description
In Viejito, a figure folds inward, concentrating the body’s weight in a closed posture. The lowered head, arms held close to the torso, and bent legs create an image of intimacy, exhaustion, and shelter.
Muted blues, greys, and adhered fragments make the surface irregular and vulnerable. The anatomy does not appear as a stable form, but as a body crossed by traces, repairs, and memory.
