In this work from the Embraces series, two figures intertwine in a compact composition where their bodies seem to merge into a single mass. The gesture is built through closeness and through the way arms and torso support one another.
Lithography and monotype leave broad marks, dark areas and open edges that intensify the encounter. The image retains the immediacy of a quick, physical and affectionate gesture.
