Essay on Silence Series, 2025
-
In this work from the Essay on Silence series, hands become the center of an image of intense proximity. Fingers fold and interlock within a tight frame that focuses attention on contact and on the tension between bodies.
Dense blacks and areas of light give the surface an almost sculptural quality. The gesture remains suspended, contained in an image where silence is expressed through pressure, touch and the act of holding.
