Description
In La rabia contra la máquina, Gálvez concentrates a scene of animal violence within a structure of signs, grids and fields of color. Two canine figures appear in acidic greens, locked in a physical tension that contrasts with the geometric organization of the rest of the composition. The image seems to oscillate between instinctive impulse and constructed system.
The title opens a direct reading within the context of Como por Arte de Magia: against the automated, clean and efficient image, Gálvez introduces friction, noise and overflow. The painting does not try to conceal how it is built; it displays it. Rage becomes a pictorial force, a resistance to a visuality domesticated by the machine and an affirmation of an image charged with conflict.
