Description
Luis Felipe Noé
Nature in Man, 2011
-
Across a field of black, pink, and yellow, Noé constructs a figure that seems to emerge and dissolve within an intense graphic matter. Flat areas of color combine with a network of lines and textures that destabilize the separation between body and environment.
The work reflects the artist’s recurring investigation of chaos, figure, and nature, approached here through multiplied marks and strong chromatic contrast.
