Description
Osvaldo Argento
Untitled (Landscape with cattle)
-
In this small-format landscape, Osvaldo Argento distributes a group of dark animals across a yellow and green field, framed by densely shaped trees and an intense violet sky. The chromatic contrast and direct brushwork give the scene a compact, expressive character.
The work bears a handwritten dedication from the artist to Mario and Alicia Mayer, dated December 1993, with New Year wishes for 1994.
