Description
Luis Felipe Noé
The Chicken Thief, 2012
-
A dark figure moves through broad fields of red, gray, and yellow, while curved lines and overlapping forms disrupt the stability of the scene. Narrative is only suggested and becomes absorbed by the graphic energy of the composition.
The work brings together figuration and visual overflow: the character remains recognizable while the surrounding space becomes a field of forces, trajectories, and tensions.
