In “I Am Sun” and “I Am Moon,” Irene Accarini summons textile guardians that rise in silence. Wings of thread, fragmented bodies, barely suggested faces: presences that seem to come from another time and yet gaze at us from the present.
The tapestries become a spell, each stitch a breath of energy. Between solar clarity and lunar shadow, a threshold opens—a space of passage where the visible and the secret coexist. In that oscillation, the sacred is revealed: fabric as skin, the image as offering.
