The body lies down, yet it does not rest. In “Serena,” stillness pulses with contained rhythm: each curve seems to recall the instant before sleep. The figure, extended and complete, transforms matter into breath; the bronze softens under the light, as if preserving the warmth of skin.
Anzorena makes repose not inertia, but profound presence. The sculpture does not sleep—it listens. Within its form gathers the murmur of silence, that peace which does not soothe, but sustains.
