Nicolás García Uriburu - Ombú

Description

Nicolás García Uriburu – Ombú

In Ombú, Nicolás García Uriburu revisits one of the most recognizable motifs in his work: the emblematic tree of the Río de la Plata landscape. The densely textured crown, painted in greens, reds, and ochres, stands against a sky of flowing blue and orange bands with a distinctly Pop sensibility. The tree becomes monumental within an intimate 50 × 50 cm format.

The painting is signed at the lower right and is accompanied by a handwritten photographic certificate signed by Nicolás García Uriburu, identifying the title and dimensions and confirming his authorship.
