Saying That - Liliana Porter, 2017

Description

Liliana Porter

Saying That, 2017

-

A small figure stands before a speech bubble filled with unreadable signs. With very few elements, Liliana Porter creates a scene in which language, silence, and absurdity remain in tension.

Economy of means is central: the empty paper amplifies the narrative scale of a minimal image and turns an apparently simple gesture into a question about what can—or cannot—be said.
