In Renata, Eunice Balbi constructs a domestic scene in which work, intimacy, and everyday life coexist on the same plane. The figure, focused on her computer, is surrounded by personal objects, cables, papers, and signs of a contemporary routine. The composition transforms the interior into an affective record, where each element holds a presence and a memory. The painting offers a close look at those suspended moments in which the everyday becomes portraiture.
