In this work, Silvia De Stoia constructs a figure in tension, where the body projects forward while dragging an amorphous form that resists and entangles. The iron, shaped into open lines, dismantles mass to become a system of visible forces. The sculpture does not represent movement, but a condition: a state of continuous effort where advance and burden become inseparable. The material acts as a record of that friction, with each line holding an energy that never fully resolves.
