Private Collections is Cassia House’s secondary-market division, dedicated to the selection, presentation, and sale of artworks from private collections.
The project brings together Argentine, Latin American, and international art, with a particular focus on modern masters, twentieth-century art, and significant contemporary works.
Each piece is presented individually, with information about authorship, medium, dimensions, signature, provenance, and available documentation.

The Private Collections catalog includes paintings, drawings, prints, screenprints, lithographs, editions, and other works on paper.
The selection brings together major figures in Argentine art, including Antonio Berni, Benito Quinquela Martín, Raúl Soldi, Fernando Fader, Juan Carlos Castagnino, Nicolás García Uriburu, Antonio Seguí, and Roberto Plate.
It also includes works by international artists such as Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí, Joan Miró, Antoni Tàpies, Leonora Carrington, Remedios Varo, and Pedro Friedeberg.
We do not select works based solely on the recognition of the artist. We also consider the quality of the piece, its period, medium, condition, provenance, documentation, and relevance within the artist’s broader body of work.

When an artwork has a documented history involving galleries, collections, publications, or auction houses, that information is included in its presentation.
Our goal is to allow each buyer to understand the work as clearly as possible before making a decision.
We assist both experienced collectors and those making their first acquisition.
We can provide additional photographs, detailed information about the work, provenance and documentation, payment conditions, and delivery or shipping options.
We also offer guidance when comparing works according to artist, period, medium, dimensions, budget, and collecting goals.
Private Collections receives proposals from owners, heirs, and collectors interested in selling artworks.
We work primarily through consignment. When an artwork is selected, we agree with the owner on the sales conditions, minimum price, published price, and applicable commission.
We then develop its presentation, technical sheet, photographic record, and commercial communication.
For an initial evaluation, we request photographs of the front, back, signature, labels, and inscriptions, together with the dimensions, medium, provenance, and any available documentation.
The secondary market allows an artwork to continue its history as it moves from one collection to another.
Provenance plays a fundamental role in this process. Invoices, certificates, gallery labels, auction catalogs, publications, and family records can provide relevant information about the history of a piece.
For this reason, we assess each artwork individually and communicate only the information that can be supported by the available documentation.
