Can't find the artwork you are looking for? We can source it for you.

Cassia House provides personalized art sourcing for collectors looking for a particular artwork, artist, period, or medium. If the piece is not shown in our catalog, tell us what you have in mind. We review each request and explore opportunities within our field of work, with a focus on Argentine and European masters, paintings, sculptures, and graphic art.

You may name a specific title or share broader criteria such as artist, approximate date, medium, dimensions, and an indicative budget. Every request is assessed individually. A search does not guarantee that a specific artwork will be available or obtainable, but it allows us to identify relevant alternatives and help you evaluate them before moving forward.

What we can source

We handle inquiries concerning paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints, lithographs, screenprints, and other works on paper. A search may focus on a specific piece, an artist's body of work, or a combination of criteria that matters to your collection.

  • A particular artwork whose title or image you know.
  • Available works by an Argentine or European artist.
  • A medium, period, subject, or range of dimensions.
  • An alternative comparable to a work that is no longer available.
  • Pieces selected to begin, expand, or continue a collection.

You can also explore our current Private Collections, Argentine Masters, and International Masters.

How personalized art sourcing works

  1. Tell us what you are looking for. It may be an artwork, an artist, or a set of criteria.
  2. We review the request. We confirm whether it falls within our field and what additional information may be needed.
  3. We explore opportunities. We review our catalog, private collections, and relevant secondary-market options available to Cassia House.
  4. We present alternatives. When we identify a relevant option, we share the available information for your consideration.
  5. We assist with the next step. If you are interested in a work, we coordinate the questions and reviews needed before the transaction.

The scope, conditions, and next steps are confirmed with each collector before the search moves forward. We do not publish your request as an open offer or create a public page containing your information.

What information should you send?

The more precise the reference, the better we can understand the search. When available, please include:

  • the artist's name;
  • the title, series, or approximate period;
  • medium, support, and dimensions;
  • a photograph, link, or visual reference;
  • an indicative budget, if you wish to share it;
  • your city or country;
  • any requirement that matters to your collection.

You do not need to have every detail. An image, an artist's name, or a clear description may be enough to begin the conversation.

Documentation, provenance, and condition

Before considering an acquisition, collectors should review the identification of the artwork, medium, dimensions, signature or inscriptions, condition, provenance, and available documentation. The information differs for every work and is communicated on a case-by-case basis. A signature or a single certificate does not replace a complete assessment.

For our general approach, read Artwork Authenticity and Provenance. When comparing editions, see our guide to prints, lithographs, and screenprints.

Catalog and secondary market

Personalized sourcing complements our published catalog. Some opportunities may be held in private collections or appear on the secondary market without remaining publicly visible in the store. Our role is to determine whether there is a suitable option for the request and to present alternatives that we can describe with the information available.

If you are still defining what you want to acquire, begin with our guide to buying Argentine art or starting an Argentine art collection.
