Lucía Liz develops a practice in which the body becomes a field of energy, connection, and transformation. Working across painting, installation, and video-performance, her pieces construct dynamic scenes where figures intertwine, dissolve, and continuously reconfigure. Within this visual universe, the human condition appears as a shifting flow, where relationships, emotions, and psychological states are expressed through movement, color, and layered forms.

She holds a BA in Visual Arts from the Universidad del Museo Social Argentino and a Master’s degree in Cultural Management from the Universidad de San Andrés. Her training includes experiences in new media, installation, and sculpture, notably a summer residency at the School of Visual Arts in New York, which expanded her approach toward interdisciplinary and contemporary practices.

Her paintings are characterized by compositions in which human figures emerge and dissolve within complex structures, creating images that oscillate between figuration and abstraction. In works such as Río Turbulento, space unfolds as a network of bodies and interacting forces, where each element influences the others, forming a visual narrative about collective experience. Her palette—often composed of soft tones and subtle contrasts—enhances a dreamlike atmosphere that coexists with the intensity of movement.

She has participated in exhibitions at institutional spaces and galleries in Argentina and abroad, including Centro Cultural Recoleta and Casa Nacional del Bicentenario, as well as in programs exploring the intersection of art, science, and technology. Based in Buenos Aires, she continues to develop a body of work that investigates the complexity of human relationships and the ways in which the body inhabits and transforms space.
