Description
In Premio a mi insistencia, Zarba constructs a piece in which recognition shifts toward the intimate and the absurd. The rosettes, associated with external validation, are arranged as a repetitive system that loses its original logic to become self-referential. The small-scale painting introduces a misalignment that destabilizes the hierarchy of the whole. The work proposes the award as an ambiguous gesture, where persistence becomes both drive and burden.
