In Para ocultarse del mundo, Jazmín Puyén constructs a scene where refuge becomes ambivalent. The body, hidden beneath a precariously held fabric, appears as a vulnerable presence seeking shelter without fully disappearing. The domestic structure turns into a fragile device where the need for protection coexists with exposure. The painting activates a tension between hiding and being seen, proposing the home as an unstable boundary.
