Description
In Malevo, Eunice Balbi constructs a scene in which the figure appears as both enigma and ritual gesture. Suspended in an ambiguous time, the character organizes the space like an intimate stage traversed by signs: cards, objects, intruding hands. The painting articulates tension and stillness, where the narrative is not explained but suggested. The scene emerges as a fragment of a larger story, sustained by an atmosphere of omen and memory.
