In Las trece gracias, Zia Margaret transforms language into visual matter. Across a vibrant surface of chromatic layers and painterly gestures, the text appears as if emerging from the painting itself, oscillating between poem, prayer, and intimate declaration. The phrases overlap and overflow, creating a field where reading becomes a form of movement.
The work proposes an experience where language and color intertwine. Writing ceases to function only as sign and becomes texture and rhythm, while the painted background sustains an expanding atmosphere. In this crossing of word and material, the piece unfolds as a sensitive territory where the personal opens toward the collective.
