In “Dolores”, Katerina Atamañuk folds the body onto itself, as if searching for its own center. The figure becomes an emotional territory—the work does not depict pain, it embodies it. The skin vibrates against a breathing background, where the visceral intertwines with the mythical, and wound and origin coexist.
