In Diary, Puyén shifts the scene toward the object, where writing becomes a space of both shelter and exposure. The open notebook, suspended in darkness, suggests an intimacy that is both offered and withheld. The text, visible yet not fully accessible, constructs a fragmentary narrative in which the personal becomes opaque. The painting proposes writing as a territory where intimacy is constantly negotiated.
