Description
In Casa de Alfonsina 4/11, drawing operates as an act of symbolic preservation. Against a dark background, the façade emerges faintly lit, like a fragile apparition. The building—no longer standing—exists only through the drawn line, which functions as both record and resistance. Karbabian turns absence into image, proposing drawing as a tool to remember what has been lost and to sustain, within collective memory, a way of inhabiting the city that no longer exists.
