Magdalena Roglich focuses on presenting worlds that are superficially dissimilar yet concurrent: abstraction and figuration, through the use of origami geometry and a vibrant color palette. "I’ve always been interested in the fusion of opposites and the visual dialogue that emerges from this encounter," the artist remarks.

At the core of her practice is Plegados, a painting project born from the need to translate the fascinating colors and angular lines of paper sculptures onto canvas. "Plegados is a painting project that emerged from the need to bring together in my work two seemingly opposing yet compatible realms—abstraction and figuration," Roglich explains. Through the repetition of origami shapes and their close relationship with geometry, she explores the tension between the real and the abstract.

The artist has exhibited her work in both solo and group shows, nationally and internationally. In Argentina, she participated in exhibitions such as “Conarte” in Córdoba, BADA at La Rural, and “Off Limit” at the Mercado de los Carruajes. Internationally, she took part in group exhibitions at the “Affordable Art Fair” in New York, participated in the “Tephra ICA Arts Festival” in Reston, Virginia, and projects in Washington, D.C. In 2025, she was invited to exhibit at the Valle de Tandil Golf Club and showcased her work at “Justo el Arte” at the UBA Law School.
