Julián Rodríguez Vigo's interest lies in exploring and questioning the relationship between human beings, nature, and contemporary issues. His multidisciplinary practice merges mixed techniques, particularly highlighting the use of spray paint and stenciling, with the aim of connecting the ancestral tradition of cave painting with the urban expressions of graffiti. “If you ask me what painting is to me, it's my deepest connection with the world…,” reflects the artist, revealing his dreamlike and surrealist approach to environmental, social, and cultural themes.

At the core of his work is a constant investigation into materials and atmospheres, where plastic experimentation manifests in large-scale compositions and expressive chromaticism that transcends the tangible to enter a symbolic and evocative realm. His series Sobrenatural exemplifies this creative tension by combining rudimentary resources with large-scale interventions and a suggestive visual narrative.

Based in Buenos Aires and active since his early formal studies in comics and illustration in 1992, Rodríguez Vigo has exhibited his work in solo and group shows in galleries, museums, and cultural spaces across Argentina, Mexico, Cuba, Spain, Brazil, and the United States.
