On Saturday, May 17 Cassia House officially opened its doors to the public with the launch of its inaugural exhibition, Travel Without Moving. The show features works by Magdalena Roglich, Julián Rodríguez Vigo, and Walter Pugliese, three contemporary artists whose visual languages explore notions of displacement, perception, and transformation.
Curated around the concept of travel as an internal, symbolic, and sensory experience—beyond physical movement—the exhibition invites viewers to reflect on memory, imagination, and the act of inhabiting as forms of journey. Through a range of mediums and approaches, the artworks establish a dynamic dialogue that challenges traditional ideas of space and transit.
The opening of Cassia House was met with an outstanding turnout, drawing prominent figures from the art world, including collectors, curators, artists, cultural institution representatives, and a broad public audience. The strong attendance and enthusiastic response marked a promising debut for the gallery within the Buenos Aires art scene.
The evening also featured a live musical performance by Ludomi and Pedro Aguilar, whose atmospheric soundscape was specially designed for the occasion. Their performance added an emotional and immersive dimension to the exhibition experience, enhancing the overall sensory and aesthetic impact of the night.
With this first show, Cassia House establishes itself as a space committed to critical thought, contemporary artistic production, and fostering dialogue between artists, audiences, and institutions.
The exhibition Travel Without Moving will remain open to the public until August, with free admission. Visitors are welcome during regular hours, and guided tours may be arranged by contacting the gallery through its official channels.
